Paint Night!

Our next adult paint night is August 7th at 7pm.

Come enjoy our relaxing environment while painting your own masterpiece. You will be brought step by step through each brush stroke to create your own scene to bring home. No art experience required and everything you need will be provided!

Our teacher for the night will be art enthusiast Michele Beauregard. Michele lives in Barnstead; she has been painting for over 15 years.  It is a hobby that she enjoys greatly in her free time.  Her talents range from Pooh Bear and then princess murals on her daughters wall to butterflies on another persons wall.  She has also painted seascape murals using closet doors!  Anything that can be painted is always fun for her!  Michele is a business owner and a mother of two.

Our evening will start at 7pm and will conclude around 9pm. Refreshments will be served. Seating is limited with a minimum of 6 to run the class.

Art Classes for Students 1st-8th grade

Join us for our 4-week session. Classes will be held on Tuesdays from 4:30-5:30pm. The cost per session is $52 or $15 each class.

September 16: High Contrast Self Portraits- We will create self portraits using the grid to scale method by taking photos, adjusting the contrast, printing them and adding grids. Using the grid as a guide we will transfer their portraits to their artwork. Each student will take home his or her own unique portrait in the style of Warhol. Students who sign up for this class will need to send us a selfie at least 48 hours prior to the start of class.

September 23: Textured Collage- Students will create an Eric Carle inspired piece of art. For this project students will start by decorating multiple pieces of paper with a variety of patterns. They will think of a simple picture they would like to create. Using the patterned paper they have already made, they will create their picture. The end result will be a whimsical abstract art piece.

September 30: Repurposed Objects- This fun project will take a lot creativity and experimentation. Using an assortment of found objects (such as keys, screws, bottle caps, etc) students will create a design. The objects may be painted or left as they are, and will be glued onto a background. These masterpieces may be hung on the wall or put on a shelf to display the wonderful creativity of each student.

October 7: Fall Leaf Sun-catchers- The fall is so beautiful in New Hampshire, we want to make it last! For this project we will use tissue paper and contact paper to create colorful fall sun catchers. Using real leaves as examples, we will arrange the tissue paper and seal it between two pieces of contact paper. We will then cut them into their leaf shapes and add veining details with sharpies. It is not just a sun-catcher; it’s a piece of art!
